This week we will welcome our 200th Facebook friend. To celebrate we’re giving away four tickets (2×2) for Congotronics vs. Rockers this Thursday the 30th of June at Tivoli de Helling in Utrecht. The Congotronics series is a collection of albums devoted to electrified traditional music from the Congo.
For Congotronics vs. Rockers Congotonics bands Kasai Allstars en Konono No1 will do a musical dialogue with four western indiebands: American artpunkband Deerhoof, de Argentinean singer/songwriter Juana Molina, the Swedish experimental percussionist rockers Wildbirds & Peacedrums and the afrobeat-meets-free-jazz-band from Brooklyn called Skeleton.
If you become our (new) Facebook friend between now and Tuesday the 28th (noon) you have a good chance of winning two tickets to this spectacular show.
