Welcome to the fourteenth post in a weekly series on new Canadian music! This week it is hardcore punk with a review of Keep Tidy’s full cassette length ‘Buds Buds’.
Keep Tidy is a four-piece full throttle experience from Vancouver. The front female fury is coming from Shmoo Richie. Punchy guitar riffs, pounding drums and running up and down low bass lines, coordinated chaos by Dystin, Kyle and Brett.
‘Buds Buds’ is a seven times two minutes makes eleven o nine in your face coordinated punk hardcore fury. “The basement is on fire … 1,2,3 fucking 4,5,6 … 7,8,9,10,11,12 … go straight to hell … let’s go, figure out, figure out … the basement is on fire!” some lyrical parts of our fav song ‘You’re Awesome’.
